Featured Artist: Krzysztof Marek Bak
The Carey Institute and Marvin Bolotsky are pleased to present an exhibition of graphics by the noted Polish digital artist Krzysztof Marek Bak. The artist has created more than 1000 editions of images implemented in digital techniques and has won numerous awards in the more than 70 solo exhibitions he had in Poland, Germany, Czech Republic, Portugal, Great Britain, Denmark, United States and Kuwait.
Bak is an associate professor of fine art at the University of Silesia in Poland where he runs the Digital Graphics Arts Studio.
The exhibition will contain 20 prints based on the biblical Song of Songs cycle as well as several additional computer designed graphics.
The show will be at the Guggenheim Pavilion from June 1-30, Monday through Friday.
The opening reception will be on Saturday, June 6 from 2-4 pm. Refreshments will be served.
