Carey Institute debuts pilot aid for craft brewers – Times Union Dowd on Drinks

The Carey Institute For Global Good announced a program to provide local craft brewers with key ingredients. The project is called “Transitioning to Small Grains,” a new pilot project of the Institute’s Helderberg Brewshed. It is undertaken in partnership with Cornell Cooperative Extension of Albany County to facilitate the production and marketing of a variety of small grains by farmers across the Hudson-Mohawk Valleys region, specifically for use by the region’s burgeoning craft beverage industry.
