Rensselaerville Ride: From Hill to Hollow

Four fully supported rides through the hills and hollows of the Helderbergs.

10 miles / 24 miles / 44 miles / 64 miles 

All routes are fully supported by food & water stations, a roaming repair vehicle and an amazing group of volunteers.

After your ride, enjoy a family friendly post-ride festival on the beautiful grounds of the Carey Institute, with live music by The Lustre Kings, BBQ lunch from the Carriage House Restaurant, craft beer and cider, swimming in Lake Myosotis, and more! All ride registrations include a t-shirt, BBQ lunch and beverages.

7:30 AM – Registration opens

9:30 AM – All rides depart from Huyck House Starting Line 

10:00AM-Bicycle Rodeo course open on tennis court

11:00AM-Family Ride begins at Huyck House Starting Line

12:00PM-Lunch buffet (see menu below) and beer garden open. NYS beer, brewed in site by Helderberg Brewery, plus local cider and wine.

Swimming at Lake Myosotis (located across the road) opens at noon for all riders and their families

Corn bread with crock butter

Schoharie Valley greens with local vegetables and dressings on side

Panzanella salad with local tomatoes and corn

Pasta salad with local eggplant, peppers, tomatoes and basil*

BBQ baked beans

Hilltown stew with local butternut and cauliflower, black beans and brown rice*

Barbequed chicken

Pulled pork with rolls and Carolina barbeque sauce

Cookies, brownies & watermelon
