July Featured Artist: Shigeki Tomura

July 2-31, 2017

This exhibition features the intimate watercolors, drawings and drypoints of Japanese artist Shigeki Tomura. Each image encapsulates a singular moment such as the thawing of snow, leaves fluttering in the wind, or sunlight dancing on water. Tomura’s work captures the transient beauty of nature and reminds us of the peace and sudden awareness which can be found when we stop to look at the world around us.

Thanks to Davidson Galleries for the above.

This exhibition was curated by Marvin Bolotsky from his collection.

Join us on July 9 for Shigeki’s reception. Details here >>
