Source NY Regional Beta is Now Live

source-ny-fb-adThe Carey Institute for Global Good is pleased to announce the launch of a regional beta test for Source NY.

Source NY is a tech-enabled marketing and supply chain mapping platform for the Empire State’s booming craft beverage industry. Source NY addresses the lingering question of how to connect farmers and craft beverage producers in order to fulfill the spirit and letter of the farm brewery and distillery legislation passed by Governor Andrew M. Cuomo in 2012. The platform also makes it easier for any craft beverage producer, regardless of their license, to find NY State ingredients.

Feedback from the first round of beta trials helped shape the platform. We now invite growers and producers from across the Capital Region and Hudson Valley to put Source NY to the test and help make more improvements.

Source NY was built by the Carey Institute in partnership with Sourcemap, Inc., an industry leader in supply chain mapping technology. Funding was provided by Empire State Development Corporation and the USDA.
