Sahana Dharmapuri
Sahana Dharmapuri (2016) has served as an adviser to USAID, NATO, the Swedish Armed Forces, and the United States Institute for Peace. She was a fellow at the Carr Center for Human Rights Policy at the Harvard Kennedy School of Government from 2011-2013. She recently launched the “Know My Name Campaign,” a web platform that profiles women and men countering violent extremism and making peace around the world. She is revising her first book “Women, Peace and Security: Ten Things You Should Know,” an essential guide to understanding the importance of women’s equality in international security and peace decision-making.
