Gemma Sieff

Gemma Sieff (2019) has worked on the editorial staff of The New York Review of Books, Harper’s Magazine, Town & Country and Bookforum. She is currently a freelance writer and editor. Her essays and criticism have been published in Bookforum, Frieze, Harper’s, n+1, The New Republic, The New York Times, The Paris Review and VICE.

As a Logan Nonfiction fellow, Gemma will be developing a body of work that focuses on the current reckoning around sexual politics. This work, through a personal frame, deals with topics such as desire, loneliness, power dynamics and the politicization of private life.
