Charles G. Houghton, III, Founding Trustee
Charles (Chuck) G. Houghton, III is a director of the W. P. Carey Foundation and serves on the Albany Water Board. Chuck served as president of Elco, a manufacturer of environmental electric motor boats founded in 1893. Chuck is the former executive director of the Missouri-Illinois Bi-State Development Agency, managing the St. Louis metropolitan area public transportation systems and was the administrative assistant to U. S. Congressman James W. Symington. He was an officer in the U. S. Navy, is a graduate of Harvard University where he was on the varsity crew and president of the Hasty Pudding – Institute of 1770.
