Join Us for a Holiday Beer Tasting

2015holidaybeerparty

Saturday, December 5
Huyck House, Carey Institute, 63 Huyck Rd.
2-4 pm

Join us Saturday, December 5th for our annual eggnog beer party at the Carey Institute for Global Good!

Ready for some holiday cheers? This year’s party will feature BEER!

Stop by to sample beers made by our brewer Greg Hostash. The Helderberg Brewery was founded with the vision of brewing beer for our local community—using ingredients grown by local farmers—and Greg’s 15 years of homebrewing expertise played a key role in our inspiration. We’re excited to introduce his farm-crafted beers to you.

In anticipation of the Brewery’s official opening in early 2016, we’ll also be launching our Growler Club at the party. Your membership will provide us with the start-up capital to keep Greg brewing all year long and make sure your growlers stay full with fresh, local beer. Memberships are limited so be sure to sign up for yours at the tasting.

We’ll also be serving our traditional eggnog at the party, adapted from P.L. Elmore’s historic recipe. P.L. Elmore played an important role in the Institute’s history as cofounder of The Institute on Man and Science, along with his wife Katharine Huyck and their friends Winifred and Everett Clinchy. His eggnog recipe is tried and true.

The tasting coincides with many other holiday events happening in the Village. Spend the whole day in town!
