Hilltowns Alive Presents: Historic Rensselaerville Walking Tour

Main Street History Tour | 

Join local resident, historic preservationist and Helderberg Brewery Bartender, Gerritt Platel on a walking tour of Rensselaerville’s Historic Main Street. See the ruins of the original Huyck Felt Mill, learn about the buildings and architecture that put the hamlet on the National Register of Historic Places and take a tour of the Grist Mill. The walk will end back at Helderberg brewery Taproom for a well-deserved beverage.

Two Sessions Available:

  • Saturday, June 22 at 2PM
  • Sunday, June 23 at 2PM
    • Food will be available for purchase at the Taproom before and after the tour.

The guided walk will begin and end at the Helderberg Brewery Taproom, located at 26 County Route 353 in Rensselaerville. You can expect the tour to take approximately 60-90 minutes with a total distance of about 1 mile and will include some trails. Wear appropriate and comfortable footwear.
