Community Compost setupRensselaerville residents are invited to participate in our new community composting project. A composting station has been constructed at the Rensselaerville Town Park located at 1424 County Route 351 in the hamlet of Rensselaerville. You do not have to live in the hamlet to participate.

This project was developed and implemented by a group of local residents with some organizational support from the Carey Institute’s Sustainable Communities Program Manager. The goal of the composting project was to work together to reduce food waste and to make soil for a future garden at the park.
