Carey Institute for Global Good Succeeds in GlobalGiving’s Accelerator, Becomes Recognized Partner of GlobalGiving
The Carey Institute for Global Good recently participated and graduated from the GlobalGiving Accelerator program, gaining entry into the GlobalGiving marketplace and becoming a recognized partner of GlobalGiving. As part of the Accelerator, our organization successfully raised $8,560 from 68 unique individual donors to support the Refugee Educator Academy .

“The goal of this crowdfunding campaign is to help provide 10,000 teachers around the world with online training, resources, and support by 2025. The project provides open access to the refugee educator workforce including in schools, camps, and relocation centers in an effort to improve the educational outcomes for the world’s most vulnerable individuals—refugees. This project supported the training of our first 20 refugee educators,” said Diana Woolis, project leader and director for the Center for Learning in Practice at the Carey Institute for Global Good.
