Call for Fall 2019 Logan Nonfiction Program Fellows

The Carey Institute’s Logan Nonfiction Program has issued a call for applications for its fall 2019 cohort. The Logan Nonfiction Program welcomes between 10-20 nonfiction writers, documentary filmmakers, photojournalists, podcasters and multimedia creators to the Carey Institute in two classes per year. The Fall class will take place from October through December.

The Logan Nonfiction Program seeks to strengthen democracy and contribute to an engaged and informed public by supporting fact-based reporting on social, economic, environmental and political topics. Selected fellows assemble at the Institute for periods of five to ten weeks to work on books, films, long-form and multimedia pieces whose socially relevant subjects advance dialogue on the most pressing issues of the day.

We are committed to building a diverse and inclusive class of fellows; participants are selected for the program based on the quality, relevance, professional experience and promise of the applicant’s work.
